The music video for reaching time was filmed as part of a music video festival. It was fitting to use this song as the challenge was to shoot the clip over one weekend so we were literally 'Reaching Time' as we went.
I was inspired to create the 'human flower clock' as an ancester of mine was responsible for planting the iconic flower clock in Princess Park in Edinburgh in Scotland in 1903.
The concept of shooting the clock from above was challenging for the crew but with many creative minds, some heavy machinery, and a whole lot of gaffa tape, the shot was achieved.
It was just by luck the the Director of the film clip Michael Edwards had a beautiful celtic pocket watch that we were able to feature in the clip. Probably the most enjoyable aspect of the filming was discussing with the crew all the different ways that time is perceived and how to reflect those ideas in the clip...
