 It’s imperative as an artist for me to feel as though I am constantly being progressive. Every time I sit at the piano I try and push the boundaries musically, lyrically and what I feel there is a market for commercially.
Musically I take the many influences that I have had, from Jazz to Orchestral, Opera to Pop, Music Theatre through to Rock. I find what it is that excites me about that music and use that element to create whatever it is that I am feeling in that very moment, and capture it in song.
The lyrics come from many different life sources. Being an analytical Virgo I use this to see what is happening not only in my own life at any given time but the ups and down’s of the people around me. It is indicative of my music that the thematic ideas are expressed through the accompanying music and vice versa.
Through the highs and lows of my own life I have become extremely passionate for living. I feel there are so many things to be enjoyed that are over looked every moment of our lives. I welcome you to share some of those moments with me….
I am humbled to find both overseas and at home in Australia such a growing fan base in the early stages of my career. It highlights my expanding beliefs that the world is ready to support entertainers that encourage personal growth in the people who they entertain and the continuation of living in a more peaceful and enlightened society.
